Going along to games with my Dad, aged 5, duffel coat, woolly hat, scarf, gloves, pockets full of sweets, middle of winter but mesmerised by the whole occasion.
Footballing Heroes
Paul Gascoigne. What a talent.
Greatest Game Ever
Tough one...going for Liverpool V AC Milan, European Cup Final 2005. Italian teams just don't lose 3-0 leads! Unbelievable night.
Greatest Goal Ever
Maradona V England. Mexico '86. Never Forgotten it.
Greatest Player Ever
Maradona? Messi? Maradona? Messi?...I'll go Maradona. Just!
Greatest Manager Ever
Some true greats of the past, but in my time...Alex Ferguson. Nobody will ever manage a club for that length of time again. Legend.
Greatest Team Ever
Too many to mention...Man Utd's treble winners of 1999 and Arsenal's invincibles of 2004 were both special but the Pep Guardiola Barcelona teams were another level.
Greatest Stadium Ever
Nou Camp Barcelona. Special place with special history. Unique.
Greatest Boots Ever
Puma King Originals.
Greatest Strip Ever
I'm old school! Love traditional and retro...for me it's the Scotland Jersey of Mexico '86! Navy top, white 'short' shorts with navy band and red socks. Class!
Best Thing About Matchday
Walking to the game. You can't beat the buzz around the ground and the sound of the turnstyles.
Worst Thing About Matchday
Losing! And the long walk home!
Best Thing About Playing
3pm Saturday. The changing room spirit and the team togetherness.
Worst Thing About Playing
Being injured. Its a lonely old place!
Best Thing About Coaching
Working with kids. Getting the opportunity to make a difference through playing football. Its a fantastic responsibility to have and one which I thoroughly enjoy.
Worst Thing About Coaching
The 'Win at all Costs' mentality of other coaches within the game. The game can never lose its enjoyment.
Best Advice Given
"Treat every game like it's your last"
Advice to Others
Never stop believing. Not just in football but in life. With enough belief and desire you can achieve absolutely anything.
Future of Football
Summer football. Better weather and better pitches will only encourage more participation, either playing or supporting and allows the coaches a better environment in which to coach. Kids can play more often and for longer with the end result...
fitter and healthier children playing and enjoying a game that they love.

Earliest Memory
Footballing-wise? Getting my first football, a flyaway from woolies. Non-football wise? Sitting listening to my parents' record collection with massive head phones on which ranged from the Quo to Postman Pat!
Footballing Heroes
Super Ally...McCoist not Mitchell
Greatest Game Ever
Sadly I was at neither, but Man Utds Champions League final win against Bayern Munich in 99, 1-0 down with minutes to go, then 2 goals from the super subs Teddy and Ole Gunnar, and the second game was Rangers 3-2 win against Celtic in the 2002 Scottish Cup final -thriller!

Coisty's strike for Scotland against Switzerland at Euro '96, Outside the 18 yard box.
Greatest Player Ever
Zinedine Zidane
Greatest Manager Ever

Greatest Team Ever
Growing up, I loved the early 90's AC Milan team with Baresi, Maldini and co.
Greatest Stadium Ever

Greatest Boots Ever
Easy - Puma Kings, a real classic.
Greatest Strip Ever
The Rangers home strip from the late 80s with the different shades of tiny squares through it with the button neck. Umbro at its best.
Best Thing About Matchday
The way total strangers come together and are as one for an hour and a half.
Worst Thing About Matchday
Needing the toilet and you're 10 seats into your row. "Cheers, Thank you, Cheers, Thanks, Cheers!"
Best Thing About Playing
The satisfaction of putting your all into your performance, win, lose or draw.
Worst Thing About Playing
Opponents that take themselves too seriously - it's got to be enjoyed.
Best Thing About Coaching
I love all that comes with the job. Meeting new people, watching them develop and grow in so many areas, learning every day and the fun - doesn't feel like a job.
Worst Thing About Coaching
Coaching outside in the winter with no hat or gloves!
Best Advice Given
My dad's favourite - "You won't know until you try"
Advice to Others
Whatever you do, no matter how big or small, give it 100%.
Future of Football
Quality, not quantity when it comes to coaches, training facilities and people involved in the game.
